Three things that influence your future

I am sure that everybody will be success in their future, but some of them are confuse to reach it. So, here is important for us to know some things that influence our future. What will happen to our life next year? Next month? All will be influence by three things. There are 1) who is our friends? 2) What is the book we read? And 3) what is our dream? These three things will discuss briefly in this paper.

Who are our friends? Maybe we never think that our friends has influence us to do something. As the example when you will do something, your friends ask you to go some where, but you dislike it. What did you do? Did you follow your friends or you choose to do with your choice. Actually life is about influence and influenced. One of the most important to know is, if we are not influence, we will be influenced.

Why our friends can influence our future? According to Prophet Muhammad SAW said that:

“Permisalan teman duduk yang baik dan teman duduk yang jelek seperti penjual minyak wangi dan pandai besi. (Duduk dengan) penjual minyak wangi bisa jadi ia akan memberimu minyak wanginya, bisa jadi engkau membeli darinya dan bisa jadi engkau akan dapati darinya aroma yang wangi. Sementara (duduk dengan) pandai besi, bisa jadi ia akan membakar pakaianmu dan bisa jadi engkau dapati darinya bau yang tak sedap.” (HR. Al-Bukhari dan Muslim)

Our Prophet Muhammad SAW state that good friends will make us better, but if we have bad friends, we also will bed. Just like a seller of perfume, we will be smell good although we never buy it. It’s the pararable of friends.

According to Maiz Z.A. in his book “bukan sekedar teman” state that “teman yang positif, spirit yang positif, melahirkan generasi yang positif” (2010;6). It’s mean that if we have a good friends, our future will be better, not only for us but also for the next generation.

Just like friends of Rasuullah SAW, they was inspiring next generation until now because they was knew our prophet Muhammad SAW. Their friend is Rasulullah SAW, a man that perfect in their life. We can see it from his morals. Rasulullah SAW has certain character. Honesty is one of the examples of good morals of Rasulullah SAW. It was inspiring his friends such as Abu Bakar ra. He never corrupts his society when he led his state. Michael H. Hart states that Muhammad SAW is one of the most influences in this word. It’s mean that friends can influence our life.

Now, our question is how to get good friends? Actually we should selective to choose our friends. According to Satria Hadi Lubis in his :book Total Motivation”, we should choose friends that can motivated us to rich our dream if we will successful. Its the key to make us success on the future. As we know that if we always with bed friends, we will be like them. So, be careful with your friends, choose your best friends that has good moral and that can make you motivated to rich your future.

Sometimes you may meet friends that dislike if know you will success, some times you may has friends that will break your dream. Close your ear with the negative influence from them. We should selective to choose which can motivated us to reach our dream and which one can make us not motivated us. So, your future sometimes depends on your friends.

Books that you read can influence your future. Why? According to Satria Hadi Lubis state that :

“konon, di Amerika, buku yang paling banyak ditulis dan paling laris di beli adalah buku-buku motivasi. Pantas, jika mereka produktif dalam menghasilkan karya di berbagai bidang kehidupan.”(2010; P.82)

Now, America is the police of the world. He can lead the world in all aspect, such as technology and economic. Why? One of the reasons is because the society like to read a book. Book has influence every person in that country and make them think better for their country.

Japan is one of the other example, in japan the country ask the students to read the book about samurai. Samurai that has a good character can influence every people who read that story and it can make japan woke up after the world war two (tragedy of Hiroshima and Naga saki).

What is our dream on the future? If you still confuse, you should read motivation book. Why it’s important? Because by reading motivation book, it can motivate us be better.

According to Al-Qur’an Qs Al-Alaq state that :

“Bacalah dengan (menyebut) nama Tuhanmu Yang menciptakan, Dia telah menciptakan manusia dari segumpal darah. Bacalah, dan Tuhanmulah Yang Maha Pemurah, Yang mengajar (manusia) dengan perantaran kalam. Dia mengajar kepada manusia apa yang tidak diketahuinya.”

In this holy of Qur’an, ALLAH SWT has teach us to read. It’s mean that reading is important for us. For the example, Yahudi can woke up and he colonize Paletine because Benyamin Be’ebs has write a book “Der Judestaat”. This book was read by the follower of Yahudi. Now, Yahudi try to held the world. It is because the book.

Here it’s important that the book we read can influence our future, even our future of our country or civilitation. Muhammad Fauzil adhim state that “setiap tetes tinta seseorang adalah darah bagi perubahan peradaban”. If we read a good book, we will be better, but if we read a bad book, we will be worse on the future.

So, book that we read is important for us. Be careful to select a good book for us, for our brothers, sisters, and our family. It can influence our future. Juat like Sayid Khutub that make muslim in this world wake up from their sleeping with the cospiration of zionis. Your life influenced by your book.

What is dream? Your life will come true like your dream. Why dream can influence your future? If you don’t have big dream, your life will never better because life is the metter of aim. Your aim will influence your future. If you have big aim, you will do the best, work harder and fight to relize it. If you don’t have big goal, or life just through your friends and you will never better in the future.

According to Seven R. Covey “begin with the end in mind”. For example, If we will go to some place, first of ll we should decided where is the place.it also same with our life. What we will get in the future. we should decide now, before we act. So, if we will success on the future, we should has big dream.

That all about three things that influences our life. Be creative, be possitive and becareful to use that three things. If we worse in choosing and designing that three ways, we will also bad on the future. Success is ours, and we must choose our choice.
